Purpose:

• To manage and provide advise on fiscal policy matters.
   

Functions:

• Provide provincial revenue strategy and department management policy for sound revenue management.
• Analyse own revenue budgets of departments.
• Conduct revenue forums to share best practices between departments and National Treasury.
• Strengthen monitoring of departments by conducting cash office visits to ensure proper functioning of cash offices.
• Provide monthly reports and quarterly reports.
• Provide fiscal framework updates.
• Conduct training workshop on capacity and management of cash offices.
